Registered Veterinary Technician

Previous experience working in the veterinary field or at least be in the fourth term of a Veterinary Technician education program.
Candidates must be reliable, possess excellent communication skills, strong work ethic, strategic thinking, attention to detail, and be able to multitask while maintaining a friendly and positive attitude.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including some weekends and evenings.

Veterinary Assistant

  • Previous veterinary experience required.
  • Ability to handle and restrain animals in a compassionate, gentle, safe and fear-free manner.
  • Strong, consistent work ethic with the ability to perform and complete daily duties efficiently.
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative fast paced environment while remaining calm in stressful situations.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including some weekends and evenings.
  • A positive and professional attitude with a friendly and respectful demeanor towards coworkers, clients, and the animals we care for.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills are required, as well as the ability to be self-directed in their daily tasks
  • Ability to perform TPR, surgical assisting, dentistry knowledge, blood draws, catheterization, laboratory (in-house IDEXX equipment, xray), etc.

  • Be able to lift a 35 pound dog onto an examination table
  • Be able to effectively communicate both verbally/written with clients and staff

Client Services Representative

Customer service skills such as greeting clients, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.

Maintaining a high level of service, similar to that of a concierge at a hotel, in assisting clients in any capacity (serving refreshments, snacks, scheduling, recommendations for nearby restaurants, activities, etc).

  • Scheduling and confirming appointments.
  • Making follow up calls to clients to survey their experience and obtain updates on their pet’s medical conditions.
  • Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care.
  • Managing medical records, reports, and correspondences with a detailed mindset.
  • Hospital maintenance; ensuring that the interior and exterior of the hospital is neat and clean at all times.
  • Professional appearance.
  • Be able to effectively communicate both verbally/written with clients and staff.
  • Previous experience in the veterinary field is preferred.
